Call for Artists!

We are looking for artists who love cats and have made them their inspiration.

If you like cats and they are present in your works, this call is for you.

Don't miss this opportunity, participate in the first international Cat Salon.

Submissions are welcome in painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, sculpture, or digital media.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Theme: anything inspired by cats.

Deadline to apply: March 15, 2025.

Submit: up to 3 entries for $37.

Exhibition dates: From April 5, 2025 to May 17, 2025.

Maximum size of artwork: 46 inches wide.

Submission to this call does not guarantee acceptance into the show.

DELIVERY & PICKUP OF ARTWORK

1. Accepted entries must be hand-delivered to Gato Gordo Gallery on Sunday, March 30, 11am - 4pm, or Monday, March 31, 1pm - 5pm. Gallery address is 4600 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33127.
2. Shipped work must be securely packed in a reusable container and include a prepaid shipping label. If sold, return shipping cost will be deducted from the gallery commission.  If shipping, please arrange for your package to arrive prior to March 29th.
3. Shipping address will be provided upon acceptance of artwork. Note - shipping address is different than hand-delivery address. 
4. Make sure the artwork is stretched or framed and has a hanging wire.
5. Pick up unsold artwork Saturday, May 17th after the closing reception, Sunday, May 18, 11am - 4pm, or Monday, May 19, 1pm - 5pm.

We are a Miami-based art gallery dedicated to promoting artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. We present contemporary works, showcasing both established and up-and-coming talent. The Gato Gordo Gallery  is committed to exhibiting a diverse range of media, including photography, painting, sculpture, and digital art. The main goal of the gallery is giving opportunity to artists who want to show their work in Miami and promoting their work with great dedication and success.

COMMISSIONS, SALES, LIABILITY

All artwork must be for sale. Gato Gordo Gallery will retain a 40% commission on all exhibition sales. Artists whose artwork is sold during the exhibit will be notified. Artwork must stay on display until close of exhibit.

Although reasonable care will be given to handling all works, the gallery will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
